Giacomo is thrilled to be working with Joyseekers Theatre on the US Premiere of The Good Girl. He is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School.  Over the years, Giacomo has accumulated numerous Film and TV credits, most recently "The X Files" (FOX),"Once Upon A Time" (ABC), "The Returned" (A&E).  Giacomo can be seen co-starring along side Catherine Keener in the upcoming feature film "Little Pink House".  Theatre credits include Closer (Flamboyan Theatre) , Autobahn (ATA) and Gods Plans (World Premiere at Studio East).   IMDB

Emilie Collyer writes plays, fiction and poetry. Theatre awards and shortlistings of note include: The Good Girl (Winner Best Writer Melbourne Fringe 2013 & Green Room Nomination, Independent Theatre, Writing), Dream Home (shortlisted Edward Albee Scholarship and Patrick White Award 2012), Promise (Winner George Fairfax Award 2000, Highly Commended Patrick White Award 2000), Argonauta (Winner Young Playwright’s Award 1997).

 

Emilie has been commissioned by various companies including Big West Festival, Arena Theatre, ABC Radio, Punctum Inc, The Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne Writers Festival and St Martins. She has developed work with and been supported by Melbourne Theatre Company, Playbox, Australia Council, Arts Victoria, Ian Potter Foundation, Varuna Writers Centre, ANPC and Playworks. Emilie was part of the 2014 Malthouse Besen Writers Program and is a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship recipient in 2015.

 

Her prose and poetry is widely published and has won numerous awards including three Scarlet Stiletto crime writing awards. Emilie has two collections of fiction published with Clan Destine Press.

Adam Fitzgerald is the Artistic Director of kef theatrical productions and a founding partner of FIFTY2&NINE.

 

With kef Adam directed Caroline Prugh's It's Only Kickball, Stupid (Advocate Magazine year-end pick), Ken Urban's The Awake (The New York Times critics pick), Methtacular! (Time Out NY Critics’ Pick), Killing Women (with Lisa Brescia) and Lyric is Waiting. Other recent NYC directing credits include Our Town (St. Bart's Theater), Songs for a More Funnier World (NYMF), Getting the Business (Rachel Reiner Productions) Marc Castle’s  Friends and Relations, Michael I Walker’s Letter from Algeria (GroundUp) and the concerts of Ali Ewoldt and Adam Jacobs' Heart Full of Love (Town Hall) and Carner and Gregor’s Island Song (92YTribeca). 


Adam was the 2008-09 Directing Resident at Playwrights Horizons assisting Wilson Milam, Bartlett Sher and Kate Whoriskey on plays by Nicky Silver (Three Changes with Maura Tierney), Craig Lucas (Prayer for My Enemy with Victoria Clark, Michele Pawk and Jonathan Groff) and Christina Anderson (Inked Baby with LaChanze) and served as the 2007-08 Artistic Associate at Playhouse West where his production of Defiance garnered Critics Circle nominations for both Best Director and Best Production and was named in the Contra Costa Times top productions of the year. 


With FIFTY2&NINE, Adam wrote and directed the PSA for the Ad Council and GLSEN which won the national Talent House competition judged by Brett Ratner and Tom Ford.  Adam was a co-writer and directed all eight episodes of  FIFTY2&NINE's first web series, Conversations w/My Ex for GWIST TV, and directed Randy Rainbow's Behind the Tiara (also for GWIST TV). Dan Daly - Set Design

A recent transplant to New York City, Dan Daly graduated this spring from Carnegie Mellon University with his MFA in Scenic Design. Last summer he was the Scenic Design Fellow at the Hangar Theater, where he designed eight shows in ten weeks with Directing Fellows from the Drama League. While in Pittsburgh, Dan designed Dark Sisters, the "emerging artists" production for Pittsburgh Opera's 75th anniversary season, as well as a version of August Wilson’s Seven Guitars. Previously, Dan was the resident scenic designer at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in New Hampshire, and in 2011 won the scenic design New Hampshire Theatre Award for A Year With Frog and Toad. Bridget is one half of experimental Australian theatre company NO SHOW whose work includes Shotgun Wedding, The Seance, Outside Line and Unfinished Business. Kaitlyn Day - Costume Design

Kaitlyn Day is a native of Queens, NY.  She is very excited to be working with Joyseekers Theatre on The Good Girl. She received her Master's Degree in Costume Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  She is currently an assistant on School of Rock the Musical (designed by Anna Louizos) and An American in Paris (designed by Bob Crowley) both on Broadway.  She has recently designed Twinkle Tames a Dragon at the Vital Theatre Company and Grinder’s Stand at the Bridge Street Theatre. www.KaitlynDayCostumes.weebly.com

Philip Louis Calabro - Stage Manager

Philip Louis Calabro is ecstatic to join Joyseekers for The Good Girl. A jack-of-most-trades, Philip has had a hand in working both on and off stages across NYC. Rachel Kartiganer - Assistant Stage Manager

Rachel Kartiganer is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Her previous New York credits include ASM for Cortland Repertory's 2015 summer season and Production intern for The Public's 2014 Shakespeare in the Park. Her past educational credits include: Hair (SM), A Love Story (ASM), Trevor (ASM), Music Man (ASM), and Boeing Boeing (ASM).

Whitney Kaufman - Company Manager

Whitney Kaufman is thrilled to be working with Joyseekers Theatre and this incredible group of people. Previous directing credits include Forgiving Bill Buchner and Up She Rises. As an actor, favorite credits have included Proof, An Ideal Husband, The Crucible, As You Like It, The Importance of Being Earnest, and the world premeire of Out of the Sandbox. She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Sink or Swim Rep and is discovering her new passion as the Student and Alumni Affairs Coordinator at her alma mater, Circle in the Square Theatre School.
